Don, Thank you for featuring Joe Namath in the Football group. The first time I saw Namath was on a practice field, wearing a Red Jersey, during a Jets workout in Long Island, NY. What captured me the most was Joe's graciousness to the loving crowd which surrounded the field. He signed autographs with a bright smile. So happy to do it! So happy to serve his fans! I'm a Giant fan and a former NFL photographer. But Joe has always been a very special favorite of mine!

The "impossible" happened in Super Bowl III when Joe's prediction to defeat the Baltimore Colts came true. From that day on, Joe Namath was a New York hero forever.
