Artist's Description

Late afternoon light in Jacksonville, Florida has many variations. Often it is called "Golden Hour". For me, the dramatic contrasts of bold colors accompanied by intense shadows create a palette of highly defined shapes, colors, abstractions and joy. "RedWhiteBlue", in its simplicity, is a trio of lamps on the side of a fast food restaurant on a busy commercial street.

About Ross Lewis

Ross Lewis

Ross Lewis is a former international professional photographer and a graduate of Rutgers University (BA, English Major-1965). In August, 2019 Ross' historic Yankee Stadium photographs of the rebirth of the original Yankee Stadium in the 1970s, were selected in an international competition and exhibited in Agora Gallery, New York City. During Ross' exciting twenty-two year career, between 1972-1994, he was selected for domestic and international photography assignments for national magazines, Fortune 500 corporations and the National Football League. International photographic projects included assignments in Senegal, Nigeria, Brazil, Sweden and Canada. In 1972 Ross was selected as the Special Assignment photographer by the National...
