The skateboard rink in Atlantic Beach (Jacksonville), Florida is an arena for young boys to exhibit their athletic daring and grace. And in the soul of every young boy is fear of the unknown in the face of self-challenge. It is that moment of contemplative anxiety in which the next step must be taken.
About Ross Lewis
Ross Lewis is a former international professional photographer and a graduate of Rutgers University (BA, English Major-1965). In August, 2019 Ross' historic Yankee Stadium photographs of the rebirth of the original Yankee Stadium in the 1970s, were selected in an international competition and exhibited in Agora Gallery, New York City. During Ross' exciting twenty-two year career, between 1972-1994, he was selected for domestic and international photography assignments for national magazines, Fortune 500 corporations and the National Football League.
